Notes & Sketches
The struggle to satisfy my artistic drive in daily life has led me to insert art into the notebooks that chronicle and express my many curiosities, passions, and interests. The wide range of subject matter is a result of an inability to resist my own curiosity. The images below represent a small sample of over a decade of note-taking expression.
Misc.
Most of my notebooks include a series of pages titled “Misc.”, and these often end up being my favorite pages. The Misc. pages are where all of my random investigations and musings are chronicled, with the content often surrounded by some kind of drawing, which is sometimes relevant to that content…but also frequently not. When I end up diving deep into a subject or wanting to expand on something that was first documented on a Misc. page, then it ends up getting a fresh page dedicated to that subject, but I love to illustrate and format the chaos of my whims on these Misc. pages.
